I tried paddle boarding and found balancing very difficult, what can I practice in my yoga to improve my balance? I am a beginner student.
Balance and core strength go hand in hand.
It's a bit of the chicken and the egg question. Which comes first?
If you include in your daily practice some standing balancing postures and basic abdominal postures, I am sure you will notice a difference in your paddle boarding.
Observe your pelvic abdominal region when you are doing the balancing postures, notice the subtle core engagement that is required.
Try including these postures in your daily practice.
