Can you suggest some yoga asanas to help with really tight hamstrings?

I could write an essay on this topic, but I'll spare you and just suggest my top 3 recommendations.

  1. Supta Padangusthasana to stretch the hamstrings. if necessary keep the leg on the floor bent.

  2. If you run or ride a bike on a regular basis this is contributing to the tightness...

  3. Jathara Parivartanasana (knees bent) to release the tightness in the back and hips.
