Kate Roseth

Hi, I’m Kate, the founder of Yogabranches and a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.

I’m a wife and mother. When I’m not practicing or teaching yoga, I work as a business coach in the boutique fitness industry, supporting studio owners to create thriving communities within profitable studios. I also spent five years owning and running my own yoga studio, which gave me a deep, practical understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a space that genuinely serves its community.

I have been practicing yoga since 2001. I came to Iyengar yoga after an injury that required surgery but wasn’t healing as expected. I had heard about the therapeutic approach of Iyengar yoga, so I gave it a try — and never looked back.

The benefits to my body and mind were profound from the start, so attending regular classes came easily.

But building a home practice was a different story. It took time, discipline, and a shift in mindset to create something consistent and meaningful.

It wasn’t until I began the teacher training program that I truly established a ‘real’ home practice — one that felt steady, personal, and sustainable.

I have been teaching Iyengar yoga since 2009. My own experience of practice was so transformative that I felt compelled to share it with others — to help people build a relationship with yoga that extends beyond the class and into their own lives.

That’s how Yogabranches was created.

I now live on the far south coast of NSW, Australia.
